Question: How can I get in touch with others who are working with the OCR Policing NVQs?

Question: How can my Force become an OCR Approved Centre to offer the OCR NVQs in Policing?
Answer: Contact the OCR Customer Contact Centre email: vocational.qualifications@ocr.org.uk, or phone 024 76 851509 to request a Centre approval pack for OCR Policing NVQs.

Question: Who can assess the OCR NVQs in Policing?
Answer: Assessors must have occupational competence gained as a serving Police Officer, of one year in the last two years, and either hold the NVQ Assessor unit A1 (D32/33) or be working towards it. Please refer to the full Assessor requirement in the OCR Centre Documentation Pack and available on the OCR website at: www.ocr.org.uk

Question: Who can internally Verify the OCR NVQs in Policing?
Answer: Internal Verifiers must be occupationally knowledgeable in respect of the units they are going to verify, and either hold the NVQ Internal Verifier unit V1 (D34) or be working towards it. Please refer to the full Internal Verifier requirement in the OCR Centre Documentation Pack and available on the OCR website at: www.ocr.org.uk

Question: Who can achieve the OCR NVQs in Policing?
Answer: These NVQs in policing have been designed for serving police officers in the UK who can provide evidence, and be assessed during normal active duty.
